Through a series of video investigations of the internal façade of the Fremantle Arts Centre, Aleksandrow aims to give a visual understanding of the silence we often hear but rarely listen to. These works are the first experiments Aleksandrow made to investigate and visually represent silence without the use of a ceramic breakage. Through subtle editing, Aleksandrow uses the recorded sounds to accentuate the passing silence of the staircase.
